Great selection of popular Chinese dishes across many different provinces. Ordering done completely online from your phone which speeds up service and improves accuracy. Tasty “blue” fried rice and Singapore styled barramundi which are specialty dishes of this place. No reservations so you have to come early to line up. They also have a couple of “private” dining rooms but these are also first come first serve.

This place is chaotic! Peak hours mean long queues, but at least you can order easily with the QR code. The food comes out super fast and tastes amazing. Just don't plan on hanging around, they need the table for the next customer! I'd definitely come back for the food though.

We started waiting in queue since 5.30pm. Forty minutes later (I consider that quick) we got a table. Service was very quick, you get 90mins seating time. We ordered the stir fried rice with eel and truffle - definitely a sure winner. The Singaporean style Barramundi was also delicious, it has sweet, tangy and sour flavours just brings you back to Singapore. The pan fried pork dumplings were cooked to perfection with juices inside and crispy dumpling skin - make sure you dip it in vinegar and be careful because it's hot inside!! Last but not least is the crab meat and mix seafood soup - it's such a palette cleanser, fresh and they are very generous with their crab and prawns. Stonebowl is successful for a reason and people are willing to line up for it. You know it's 5 stars when people are willing to queue in the middle of winter.

came here for dinner and tried a few dishes that were new to us. We ordered the garlic prawn and mussel stir fried rice in squid ink sauce, the mix jelly with okra and flower clams, and the stir fried rice noodle with clam in XO sauce. The squid ink rice was the favourite. It arrived sizzling in the stone bowl with prawns and mussels on top, covered with melted cheese. The rice gets crispy on the edges from the heat which gives it a nice contrast in texture. The XO rice noodles had good wok flavour and the clams were fresh. The mix jelly with okra and clams was different and refreshing. The sauce was salty and went well with the neutral flaor of the okra and combined with the jellyfish made it an excellent dish. Portions are generous and the food comes out fast. The menu has a lot of variety so it is fun to try new things each time. Ordering through the QR system is straightforward and the staff check in often to see if you need anything. The staff were also very nice to let us stay past closing without making us feel rushed and it was a very good experience overall. I would definitely come back again.

We saw the lineup the week prior so decided to arrive before midday to beat the rush - thankfully the restaurant opens at 11am. Choose your dishes by browsing a physical menu, but ordering is done via a QR code on the table. While some find this impersonal, it helps a lot with language barriers. Meal highlight: Garlic prawn + mussel in squid ink rice. Meal lowlight: Restaurant was sold out of its only beer on the menu.

This branch of Mr Stonebowl has the look of a high class restaurant. The seating is spacious and comfortable, and there are even walls to create privacy and control acoustics. Service was good with plenty of staff, allowing food to be cooked and delivered efficiently. Unfortunately, the food was where it fell a but short.
